We've been coming here for the past 5 years now and absolutely love it. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. We really enjoy the daily guided tours which get us outside exploring nature. A big THANKS to the great staff here at Lutsen Resort! :-)
This is such a unique place unlike any other and it's right here in Minnesota. You wake each morning to absolutely stunning scenery! The rustic lodge is a perfect place to snuggle up next to the fireplace and read a book. The food served in their restaurant is to die for, especially the chefs featured baked pork dish. Best of all is the people who work there. They make you feel right at home! We hope they never change the rustic feel of this Minnesota treasure!
Thought we would be in same building as pool/hot tub.... we were a distance away -- about two blocks.... trails through the woods... but icy...scary. Nice room, but small. Three deer sleeping outside our balcony first morning we woke up -- that was sweet! Staff very cheery. Restaurant - good food , but spendy...and wait staff could not find a smile....??? My fiance and I have made it a tradition to come to Lutsen resort since our first wonderful experience 4 years ago. We love staying in the poplar river condos. It feels like your very own cabin in the woods.
