RecommendedWe love the comfort that the hotel and it's staff provide every time we stay. It's fun to go a little agate hunting on the beach, and take a walk across the old covered bridge.
We were up for the Norpine Fat Bike Classic and dined at the resort for 3 meals. Fabulous food all around and the breakfast buffet couldn’t be beat. We didn’t stay at the resort, and regretted our decision to stay else where. We will be back and will be staying at the resort for sure!

We spent our anniversary here last year and brought our family up this year for the weekend before Christmas. We fell in love with the area and wanted our kids to, too. We will continue to come back for many years to come.
Absolutely loved everything about our 3 night stay here! Family of 4 was more than comfortable in one of the log cabins with beautiful views of Lake Superior. The amenities are terrific including the Poplar River Pub which had some of best food I've ever eaten in my life. Lots of great trails connected to the property as well offering even more gorgeous views of Lake Superior. We will definitely return again in the future!
Sitting by the big fireplace in the main lodge and playing a game of checkers is a must! Beautiful scenery abounds here. Sitting on the beach or standing in the covered bridge, listening to the sounds of the waves is good for the soul!
One of the best places to visit in the country. Our family has had so many great memories at Lutsen.

We have been visiting Lutsen Resort for years. Although we have traveled extensively, Lutsen Resort is definitely a family favorite! The sheer beauty—the waves crashing against the rocks—the hiking—winter skiing—the total relaxation. Lutsen is simply magnificent!
