We just saw this provider today. My daughter has been experiencing horrible abdominal pain. He had a horrible bedside manner and did not seem to really be listening. Also, what made me very upset is he told my daughter to “suck it up”. This was after she said the pain was a 9/10. We only saw him as we were able to be fit in today. So while we appreciated that, I plan to look elsewhere for treatment.
Would only listen to my father when I went as a young person - not my mother or I. Dismissed my concerns and essentially told me they aren't his problem, despite my referral to him because of those direct issues.
Terrible experience with this doctor stating that my daughter sickness was not inconveniencing my life, to quote " my life is not inconvenienced enough and other families have it way worse." He disregarded everything I told him and I left crying feeling like a terrible parent when all I wanted to do was help my child feel better. I tried working with UW Health on a solution to be ignored. Very dissatisfied with this service.
