RecommendedWe stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and I cannot express enough how great this place is! Beautiful remodeled cabins, close to Downieville, pet friendly and right on the Yuba River. Cannot recommend enough and we will be sure to be back!
Loved our fall visit to the Lure. Our cabin was cute, clean and cozy. The Yuba River was right outside our door and was beautiful. A late night visit from mama bear and cub made for some excitement. It's a great getaway & we look forward to returning.

As outdoor adventuress, we LOVED this place. The staff was totally awesome and the cabins are perfect. They were super clean and newly remodeled with paint, new counter tops and new flooring. We mountain biked some epic trails too. We will be back as a yearly ritual with our good friends. If you like privacy, no cell coverage and nothing around you this place is for you ❤️🚴♀️🍷
A silver lining to our annual family vacation to Tahoe being cancelled because of COVID was the discovery of The Lure Resort. We had so much fun and it was the perfect combination of nature and luxury. We stayed in cabins #3, #7, #8 and #9 and each was beautiful/comfortable in its own way. The river access was great for the kids and provided a beautiful background to dinners on the deck. Highly recommend the Lure! 🌲🎣
Honestly, I didn't want to write a review or tag The Lure in my pics...why?!? Because it was SO beautiful I wanted to keep it all to myself. We had a great time. The cabin was so clean, like so shiny...I hesitated to bake my daughter's bday cake in there. But we did it all. Bday celebration, rafting, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and we can't wait to go back.
Our family just spent the weekend here and loved everything about it! We stayed in cabin G. It was very clean and located right near the river. It was a short walk to the bathroom/shower area. The bathroom/shower area was so nice. It was very clean and well kept. The staff we very kind and helpful. We can't wait to go back!

I love it at the Lure Resort. My favorite place to unwind and get back to nature and family.
The lure is a peaceful, beautiful, retreat, with so much to offer. I highly recommend the cabins with full amenities. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyed and I hope to go back sometime in the future. If you are there during the fall make sure to pick some apples from the apple trees growing throughout the grounds. They are delicious!
We chose The Lure as one of the locations to celebrate my 50th Birthday with a small group of friends. Melanie, the Host, went over and above to make sure everyone was taken care and comfortable for the weekend! We've been coming to the Lure for almost 20 years. For this particular weekend, we stayed in the Camping Cabins and one friend stayed in the Log Cabins.
