Grilled oysters and Bloody Mary's. These two items keep us coming back.
Decided to come to the Lure Fish House for our 21st Anniversary based on their revires on Yelp. My husband gave them 5 Yelp stars, and if there were 6 he would have given that. He had his favorite Scotch (Lagvulin) and the 2-1/2 lb. Live Maine Lobster with Grilled Brussel Sprouts and a Potato cake. This place is the best! The calamari was super tasty but the octopi were a little bit too cute because their tentacles were positioned in all the right ways but hey if you're into that kind of stuff, this is the restaurant for you. The waiters were super chill and the pineapple-coleslaw was unexpectedly refreshing. The sauces are to die for. If you need food, go here. End of story.
This is literally my favorite seafood restaurant in California, beating Gladstones (Malibu) and The Cannery (Newport) by a nose. My wife and I stopped in on a whim while passing through Ventura and we were completely blown away. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, which really set this place apart. Highly recommended.
