Loved the caverns, but our tour was full of SCREAMING babies & rude “tourist” at 0930. People running ahead of the tour guide with selfie sticks just videoing their every step. It made it difficult for the rest of us to enjoy our tour. And how many times can a guide say “DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING” and again ignorant people pawing all over anything within reach.

I visited here when I was 8 in 1960. I still carry awesome memories of these beautiful caverns!

Luray Caverns had alot more to offer than I imagined. The Cavern and a guided tour was good. There is a automobile exhibit that included baby buggies to 1930/40s. The Garden Maze for those who wish to challenge their sense of direction. Across the parking lot is museum with local exhibits of colonial Life. Complete with houses, barns, and churches. If you are ready to eat, the old school cafe has something for everyone.

The Caverns our worth the drive and experience but the Photo in the beginning and then they have a Ready made packet at the end for about $45 dollars just for you to say Yes or No. Ridiculous.... What you think someone else is going to want our photos. NO... So it gets thrown away... LOL... Poor business Scam and in my opinion if it was cheaper maybe $25 or Even $30 they would throw ALOT less away.....
