Very disappointed with this trip. We had done the Caverns before as a self guided tour that trailed just behind a group. This trip had too many people in the group. We were spread out about 200 feet in the narrow parts and could not hear our guide after the second stop. I felt that we did not get the value on this trip. We were a party of 12. This place was amazing. Pictures dont do it justice. Have to see it in person. Great place to take family who are from out of town.

It was dream which fulfilled after visiting the Luray cavern yesterday. Well managed and the depository of nature is awesome. Please visit once in your lifetime.
If I could grant it 6 out of 5 stars, I would do that. This is an amazing place where nature shows us its gorgeousness and beauty. It is a natural temple, and you will get out absolutely in love with this place. Grab you best camera and imagination and you will not regret any tiny second you spent under the ground. Enjoy. P.s. You would need the ability to walk a mile and climb the stairs. (Not too bad)
They were ill prepared for the crowds. Groups were way too big and no matter how hard the tour guide tried to get people to keep it down you could barely hear him. Rude people and terribly behaved kids. Maybe have set times for adult only tours or something - it was a miserable experience. I recommend trying the less commercialized ones for true enjoyment!
Beautiful cave but the tours are way to big & you can't hear the tour guide.
