On my recent trip to DC I booked at Lupo Verde because the pictures on google maps looked incredible! The place is very small and just a little cramped, but everything lived up to the expectations. I had gotten steak with potatoes, while my brother had gotten some pasta. The steak was HUGE and so were the potatoes. The pasta on my brothers plate was also huge. Not just great food, but spectacular service as well!! I felt welcome and taken care of the moment I stepped through the door. This place is awesome and I cannot recommend more. Ivino is the best waiter ever and made us want to return! Definitely will be back.

service is very sub par. good luck getting any balsamic out of that bowl for your bread. idk who had that idea.. truffle pasta had no truffle flavor and when i asked for parmesean , i got some out of the freezer. Coldest parmesean i have ever felt in my life. Right out of the freezer. i had to stand up 3 times to get my waiter. They were kind, i still tipped 20% , but really didn’t want to. will not return
