They discovered I had glaucoma and a suspicious retina problem. I was sent to two specialists to ensure my eyes were ready for cataract surgery which was on June 26. Fantastic experience with SMILE surgery at Lumea. Dr. Sanghera was excellent—calm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. At my follow-up, my optometrist told me it was one of the cleanest procedures he had ever seen. And recovery is going well. My vision is now what I wanted to be. I was diagnosed with the onset of cataracts and I was advised that I could get orrective surgery so that I wouldn't have to wear eyeglasses. Once referred to Lumea, I was given all kinds of information and I opted for the Light Adjusted Lens treatment. Dr. Salwan adjusted my lens so that I now have better than 20/20 vision.
