Very knowledgeable, great to deal with, been looking for a reason to never go back to Thorton's and here it is.
Horrible customer service. Product was coming apart (Floating floor) They would not even come out and look at how it was not clicking together because we had an independent contractor put it in. Who has installed many floors and knows what he is doing. Since we had an independent contractor put it in I was told it voided our warranty. I was also told I should not put anything heavy on it like an elliptical. IT'S A FLOOR heavy things go on floors. Worst decision ever to buy from them.
I purchased $6,000+ worth of solid Acacia flooring from here, my installer followed LL Flooring's instructions regarding acclimation and installation. My flooring now looks like garbage, there are huge gaps between every single plank; dirt, dust, etc. gets between the planks, they are impossible to clean. I've had numerous specialists/installers look at it and they all say the same thing: the flooring was not properly dried before it was sold. Super helpful staff. Went in with a relatively small budget and got exactly what we were looking for and they even had it in stock! They loaded it into our vehicle for us and gave some great advice on DIY installation. Will be back to do the rest of our house.
