The place looks cool, the service is great, but the food is just mediocre. So disappointed because the bar was set high by the original restaurant. The main attraction- the dim sum dishes- are. Big letdown. This place needs a good menu comprising interesting fusion dishes, and they certainly need a new chef.
Have always loved and still love the Bento Box! So glad Lulu's kept it when they reopened.
Haven't been back since 2010 and went to the old location. Thought they were closed but found out they just moved. Different service level but the wide rice noodles tasted exactly the same. Feels a little more like a fast food place but the the toy figurines were still inside the door, maybe the only thing that bridged the original decor. Still one of my favorite foods.
I was there when it first opened and have loved it and come back to it ever since. When I heard it closed I was devastated but now it's back and as delicious as ever.
The food is quite tasty but seems much more expensive than the old place.
The food is fresh tasting, love the unique menu. I have been to Lulu's several times and it never disappoints me. Potato croquettes are one of my favorites, also the ginger chicken salad. The bento box was fabulous.
