Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits. All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at the Summit Birmingham Lululemon store. On 1-2-23 at noon, I was subjected to racial slurs and discrimination while attempting to obtain a refund for items purchased within 24 hours, as covered under the store's Quality Promise policy. Despite video and audio recordings that show I was not being hostile or rude, the store refused to honor the Quality Promise and falsely claimed that the items in question were stolen. Thank you to Natalie at the Summit store for spending so much time looking up info on my daughter’s gift card that showed a zero balance. We have never been to the store and not spent it online. She worked it out for us and turned our first experience at Lululemon into a positive one. Thank you!!

I came in today and when I went to check out, was told I could not use my military discount... because I was a spouse? This was news to me considering I have used it in Hawaii and Atlanta. They told me it had to be the ACTUAL service member present to use the discount. My husband was standing there and presented his ACTIVE DUTY military ID, to which they replied that we still couldn’t get the military discount because the two items I had were not actually for him! Stopped in for my first visit last week and was met by a super friendly and very helpful staff. I picked up my first of what will become several pairs of running shorts. Great product, great staff, great experience. Very pleased!
