I was so fortunate to experience the latest installations there yesterday with my class. I'm not positive on the official name of the exhibit. Teardrops that wound the absurdity of War. All the pieces were very strong and beautiful and spoke so much to the soul. I wish I knew the names of the two young ladies that lead our tour they were amazing. Very interactive and friendly tour guide, who had no problem with photos (obvious exception to the Bruce Lee exhibit) who had no problem answering any question asked. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide was very invested and interested in what he was talking about. We also had a trainee guide who was interactive with the small group on our tour. The museum looked great for engaging your thoughts on the exhibits and was thought provoking as well as being an educational view on the people and cultures who call Seattle home now.
For the past three years, I've travelled to Seattle, and made it to the Wing to take in the amazingly crafted and curated exhibits. The Bruce Lee exhibit is definitely for the movie lover, the poet lover, the philosopher lover and if you get the walking tour; the tasty food of the International district. The Wing also has so much more to experience!
I'm very happy to experience the museum. A must see place. I recommend going.
