Dr. Bulthuis is an amicable physician with a good bed-side manner. However, he failed to investigate why I was experiencing sharp Iliotibial (IT) Band pain (a fibrous band of connective tissue running along the outside of the thigh from the hip to the shinbone) on the outside of my knee. I explained in detail that the pain was much worse when I laid on the same side hip and that the glute surrounding the hip hurt so badly, I thought it was torn. I went to him for shoulder issues and they took xrays- was told I had mild arthritis, pain continued becoming more and more pronounced - torn rotator cuff diagnosed with 2nd opinion and MRI.
Dr. Bulthuis is kind and professional. He is a good listener and takes the time to make any diagnosis and treatment clear and understandable. I certainly would recommend him.
Dr. Bulthuis performed a Full Hip Replacement on me and I am very pleased with the results! He and his staff did a wonderful job. Franchesca has been very helpful, attentive and professional in helping us with our needs.
