I had been suffering with knee pain for over a year and a half. I had two doctors turn me down for my knee surgery, but doctor Bulthuis said yes and did my surgery. I was so impressed, not only with him but all his medical staff at his office and his support staff at the hospital during surgery. They were so accommodating as he did a great job on my knee. My husband and I both saw Dr Bulthuis for similar problems with our knee(s). He was professional and the staff was great to schedule additional appointments. The reason I gave the 3 star rating is because this was a very disappointing delay in actually helping me. While HE is "in network" with my Humana Gold insurance, where he performs the necessary surgery is OUT of network - now my surgery is delayed significantly. Dr. Luke Bulthius did an exceptional job diagnosing and performing arthroscopic surgery on my left knee. The post write up was excellent and helped my PT customize a therapy plan. This was my second meniscus tear. A week later post op, 2 PT sessions, walking to a local brewery without any pain or challenges. In a month, feel I’ll be back to 4.0 pickleball, 4.8 speed, single digit golf and squatting multiple reps and set of 225!! If you have the “need for speed”, go see Luke Skywalker! He’ll get you back in the game!!

All aspects of medical care has been very good, for which I am grateful -- actually 5 stars. I am not happy about the fact that I called three times, leaving a message each time, to change my appointment date and time and was never called back. Finally gave up....
