Well he may be good at surgery but for a month I begged him to let me see him since I was in so much pain 2 months after back surgery and he kept saying I didn't need him I needed a pain management doctor. After a month I went to St. Luke's ER and found all the time I wanted him to see me I had ecoli in the surgical site, down my legs and in my blood. ZABALA OPERATED ON ME AND ALMOST KILLED ME. I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE SPENT ONE WEEK IN THE HOSPITAL AND ENDED UP BEING THERE TWO MONTHS, ONE MONTH IN THE ICU AND ANOTHER MONTH AT TRISL TO LEARN TO WALK AGAIN. THEN I CAME HOME AND HAVE BEEN IN PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF.
If you need a doctor to get your spine in order, this is the doctor for you. Doctor Zebala and his team want only the best outcomes for you. He has done two procedures on my husband’s spine (L4/5 fusion & T11-L1 fusion) and both experiences have been professional as well as caring...from the staff at the front desk to the post op care on the 17th floor at Barnes Jewish. The whole team listens to the patient and delivers individualized care. I highly recommend this doctor.
Five weeks ago I could barely walk. I was and had been in pain for 10 long months. Dr Zebala and his staff were wonderful, caring and professional. Dr Zebala put in an artificial disc for me C5/C6 and did a great job! I highly recommend him.
