Last year, a family member who was in need of Dr. Garza's expertise. Both he and his assistant were amazing. They listened without judgement, spoke to us intelligently. Never assumed we didnt understand the technical terms, however they were willing to fully explain and answer our questions. And....they were great for follow up appointments. In other words they were everything you need a specialist/ physician to be.
Awful. Seen 1.5 hours after appointment time. 10 minutes by intern, then 3 minutes by the doctor, who had an unannounced visitor in tow. Did not address my concerns, and I'm not sure how a screening could be done inside this brief window. It seemed more like a performance for the other staff members, and I absolutely felt like the 4th most important person in the closet-sized room. I am normally very pleased with my JHU physicians, especially my PCP, so this came as a surprise. Choose another location.
