Highly disappointed in this office and Dr. Alvarez as a "physician". My 81 year old mother who survived breast cancer, who has a heart valve replacement, who is bed bound from a botched hip replacement, was sent home with antibiotics for a burst abscess (the swollen gland Dr. Alvarez initially told her not to worry about) was not healing. Dr. Alvarez is the real thing. You must have the wrong Dr. Alvarez. It bothers me that anyone would write something derogatory about my Doctor. Hope this sets the record straight Dr. Luis Alvarez is an amazing Doctor. He is honest, genuine, and caring. I have been his patient for over a decade . I would not consider going elsewhere

Dr. Alvarez is an incredible doctor. He has been my entire family's ' MD for well over ten years, and I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere, despite the fact that my husband and I live over twenty miles away. Dr. Alvarez is a genuinely kind man, who actually cares about his patients overwell being, as well as their medical needs. He is truly one of kind??
We have been patients of Dr. Alvarez for about two years. He treats everyone like family, and gives each patient as much time as they need (which does sometimes lead to a longer wait time to be seen). The only downfall is that, with such a small practice that has lots of patients, it can be hard to schedule an urgent appointment - and you can have a wait of 3+ hours as a walk-in.
