About this business
We want to provide you with a more formal dining experience, but in a casual setting. We are a high energy "trattoria" establishment. The value is in the food and not the linens. We make everything from scratch. We don't own a deep fryer or a microwave. Our servers are trained to treat the restaurant as their own. We create craft cocktails and offer a sophisticated wine list. One of our specialties is the Braised Lamb Shank. It takes 25-30 minutes to prepare, but well worth the wait.

Although the patio and staff were super, I'm sad that I probably ordered the one bad meal from the specials: medallions with goat cheese and spinach. It sounded wonderful but I could barely tell there was meat inside the breading. Rice and veggies were so salty I was unable to eat them. Definitely, overpriced.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. This lovely restaurant brings small cottage charm alongside a wonderfully inviting atmosphere I can’t wait to return to when I next visit Chesterton.

overpriced food that did not taste very good at all. Very Bland, no seasoning or special taste. It was kind of was a very big let down. The only thing that saved it was the olive oil that we got to buy next door to the restaurant. our family will not be coming back next time we weekend in Chesterton.

I always have good food here, but im not sure why theres no Air Conditioning? It was so hot in there we had to go somewhere else to eat. I hope you guys figure it out soon. We love to eat here.
Visiting for one night from Fishers, IN. All the locals recommended and it did not disappoint! AMAZING ITALIAN CUISINE! Spaghetti and very meatballs to die for! 🍷🥖🍝
