Best restaurant on Hilton Head, period. Chef Clayton keeps it really real.
It's our last night in HHI and we tried the Lucky Rooster for the first time. Our experience was nothing less than 1st rate. AJ was our server and went way above and beyond for us after a very minor and completely understandable miscommunication after we first sat down. Then there's the food....wow!!! I can't express how unbelievably great the food is here. We will always return here anytime we visit HHI. Thanks AJ and LR management!!!

After eating here Sunday, July 24, I experienced vomiting and sever diarrhea for more than 48 hours followed by two weeks of the inability to eat foods outside the BRAT diet and continued diarrhea. Worst experience of my life. Required doctor's visit and I had to collect stool samples. Their best guess was Visine poisoning.

We are terribly sorry that you got sick on vacation. My staff is a group of professionals, to accuse any one of them of poisoning any guest is a dangerous road. I take this very serious, please contact the restaurant and ask for management or the owner to address this issue.
The friendliest and most personable staff on the island. They have such delicious and unique cocktails. Whenever we come to town the Lucky Rooster is one of our first stops!
Wife and I stay on HHI every October for month. Love to eat out much. We discovered this site last year. Terrific drinks followed up with even better food. Not your normal restaurant and upscale with a different twist. We will be back a couple of times this upcoming time of year.
