Great Place to hang out... – So, this is the choice of place to go and have a drink after work, and I'll agree, the service is good, the patio outside is really nice, the food pretty good (I like the fish & chips), they have two dart boards upstairs, and you can have a pretty good game or two up there. STOP-- NOW, have a drink – this is the place in all of pasadena. the outside patio, is so laid back, come have a few after work and enjoy the summer weather. My friends and i have been coming here for 5 yrs now. its the greatest little bar around. Try the sandwhichs there so good. Live music on some days and can never beat the outside patio. In Agreement (Watch the World Cup) – I completely agree with the comments below detailing Lucky's authenticity and their commitment to a quality pub. Be sure not to miss their beer tasting festivals and remember that they are open for almost all of the World Cup Games. I can't think of a better place to take in a footie match (soccer).
Beer-eerios! – When the World Cups comes around you better find yourself at Lucky Baldwin. With soccer and rugby on the tubes and darts upstairs, Lucky Baldwins is the closest thing to London you can get. The menu offers British eats in all their bland glory, ranging from Shepherd's Pie to Pigs ' Blankets.
Pasadena's best pub – Lucky's is the best place to grab a brew in Pasadena. They have an excellent selection of beer, a great patio and the service is really good. You don't much more than that.

Lucky Baldwin's is a relentlessly un-trendy British-style pub on the fringe of all the Starbucks and Urban Outfitter locations in the area. Find dozens of obscure beers by the bottle and on tap, a constant supply of soccer matches on the bar TVs and a fairly large patio.
Breakfast, anyone? – Breakfast at Lucky Baldwin's is not for the faint of heart -- or artery. Eggs, bangers, beans, hash and a slice of fresh tomato (for presentation's sake). The patio is shady, a good place to smoke, drink, chat and watch shoppers drift through Olde Towne.
A fine pub – There is no better place in L.A. to get a pint. If you are looking for a great English pub, Lucky Baldwin's is the place for you. Their beer selection can't be beat. The food ain't bad either.
