We ate at LUCE March 28th while we were staying at the Intercontinental. The hotel itself was lovely (our favorite hotel in all of California by far), but this was potentially the worst meal we’ve ever had in our lives. Our total bill was $400 without tip for two people. Out of the 11 courses on the Spring Tasting Menu I would say maybe 5 were edible. Food is generally good. Oysters and scallops taste like jelly, my favorite. It just took sooooo long waiting for each course I almost fell asleep.
