I am very grateful that Dr. Lucas Marshand is my surgeon! I had a ski accident at Alta, at upper devils elbow run, broke my leg. I had surgery the next day. He did an excellent job putting a rod in my tibia, 2 screws at the knee, and 5 screws in my ankle. I recovered to 85% within 1 year, and just had my screws removed. Dr. Marshand is an expert in trauma cases, he had a line of skiiers cued up for surgery, some I saw in the ski med clinic! Dr. Marchand is compassionate and humorous. His team works together well and makes coming to the doctor an actual delight. It's nice to have a doctor see me as a person and not just an injury to treat.
