This locally owned gem is a craft beer lover's paradise. What started from a small craft beer place has grown exponentially into the best place to meet friends and coworkers after a hard week at the grindstone. My only concern, after watching this place take over the old video rental spot and with their new parklet right out front, is that this is just the beginning of their world domination. At their current rate of growth, it shouldn't take long.
Definitely the best tap room in downtown Santa Cruz. If you want an ever-changing, evolving tap list filled with beers you've never had, then Lúpulo should be the first place you visit. Knowledgeable staff, great tapas and a very artful venue add up to make this THE beer destination in Santa Cruz.

Delicious beers and an amazing menu! Good time.
I often stop at Lupulo when I am in Santa Cruz. Besides the great beer selection, I also like the quite reasonably priced tapas, particularly the warm nuts with bacon, something I haven't seen anyone else do. Besides, it's a fun place to hang out.
