My brother was transferred here to the Neuro ICU unit & it was the best decision we could have made. The care he received from the surgeons, nurses, CNAs & PT was amazing. Shoutout to Duwan at the front desk and the Valet men who always greeted us with a lovely smile and warm welcome. Although this was a difficult time for my family, all the staff at Loyola were all great to him and us when we visited.
There was an RN here that was incredibly rude to us here. The hospital messed up with the surgery and our family member bled out. Worst experience of our lives. Incompetent resident physicians and Rubi the nurse specifically of unit 2 south was incredibly rude. She would want to speak before she took report, stating she would be too busy to update us on our family member. Newsflash RUBI that’s your job. Gary of 2 S was kind and sweet , many caring nurses. Botched surgery and more surgery need at my expense. Nothing offered by the hospital and they see the damage that was done!
I live out of state and called the hospital to get an update on my brother who was having surgery. Very poor customer service from everyone I spoke with on the phone. I was cut off mid sentence and transferred abruptly 3 times only to get disconnected. No one gave their name. The nurse I spoke with was very vague and nonchalant. Had to ask her name. I had explained that he had surgery on his hands and was trying to get an update. I was asked if I wanted to be transferred to him.I explained his hands were most likely bandaged... read more
First, let me say that the care from the doctors and staff has been great. So why such a low score- continuously canceling appointments. I haven't seen my eye specialist in over a year. I'm done. Done. I'm going to Endeavor. Today was the last canceling; i am so done. So, I called the number below, surprisingly (not), no answer, just leave a message. Not helping your case. Some of us feel neglected; I'm going to Endeavor. Goodbye.
