Attempted to have a vinyl shadowbox fence installed with this location. Worst experience ever. First of all, I signed and paid for the fence on April 23rd and told the fence would be up in 2-3 weeks. After 2 months of back and forth and miscommunication from their end, the fence finally got installed on July 1st. It was done horribly, many panels crooked. Our window treatments order is very quickly turning into a nightmare at the Northbrook IL store! Of the 7 blinds, the store only gave us 5 blinds and has absolutely no clue where the remaining 2 blinds are! We, with our installer, are trying and piecing together what their operations should do - we have confirmed that order for all 7 were placed with the store, the store has passed on the order as well. The customer service is beyond poor. THEY mess up our door order from November yet WE have to keep calling and calling with ZERO follow up or method in which they will fix their mistake. The store manager won't even give us a straight answer. Beyond disappointing!!!! N

I had a vinyl floor installed in our family room. First, they used cardboard to even it out, then had to come back and redo. The floor is an uneven mess. When they did my bathroom, the installer refused to use 2 huge pieces of plywood that were supposed to be used to make the floor even. In the process of installing the bathroom floor, the installer knocked down tiles, blaming an air conditioning technician. Lowes did my bathroom remodel. I regret that every single day. It is such a sloppy job. Go for quality and get some guys outside of Home Depot. Lowes is a garbage company and my complaint meant nothing. I regret giving them a dollar every single time I walk in my bathroom.
