I placed an online order for an item and was told my order was cancelled due to the item not being in stock. However, I was still billed for it. I went to the store to correct the issue and surprise...they found the item in the store. However, they wanted me to pay for the item AGAIN. Um, no. I've already paid for it once. The assistant store manager plus the cashier were NO help at all and finally I had to contact corporate to try to correct the store's mistake. ALL of my business will now be going to Home Depot.
Though we live 25 miles away, we've visited this store several times since it opened and have always been pleased with service and selection of stock on hand. Last night we purchased a refrigerator here and were thankful they had several models in stock so we could take it with us on the spot! We've run into the "we can order that" so many times when we need it now. I also want to give Cathy a shout out for being helpful throughout the process.
Was very impressed with my visit to Lowe's today don't know the man's name that helped me in plumbing but he was very helpful and the cashier was very friendly big thumbs up to both of them

Bought a new stove tonight at Lowe's. I went to Home Depot just before and picked out the exact some stove for the exact price. Home Depot was closer. So why didn't I buy from them? Because they would not honor my well-earned VETERAN's status for the discount!
