I have shopped lowes for 20 years and like the people and atmosphere. BUT: the credit card services they use is astounding. My home mortgage just got paid off, so I automatically lost my Lowes credit! My credit is good (750) but the Lowes banking service dropped me!!! HINT: don’t pay off your house or Lowes 5% credit card discount will no longer be of service!
I will not shop at Lowe's again. It has been a bureaucratic nightmare! I purchased a chest freezer on June 27 for in-store pick up. The item was delayed in transit and when it finally arrived a few days late, I found that the unit was damaged during delivery. Upon returning the unit to the Erie location, the staff ordered me a new one and I when I swiped my card their computer system glitched out. Online said they had glass in stock and it said that it could be cut to size. In store they claimed they do not cut glass at any of their stores. Great waste of time.
