How hard is it to sell dishwashers? Evidently it is too difficult for Lowes. We order the nicest one they sell for home delivery and installation. After weeks of confusing messages and waiting, it arrives. It is damaged. The installer thinks it is more than cosmetic. The store doesn't know what to do.
I have never- ever- had a more frustrating experience that what my family and I have been going through with Lowes. On October 1, 2017 my wife and I purchased a new refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher and microwave. We paid $3827.91. Our experience in the store was reasonable. Went to look at bathroom cabinets and James (sales associate) came along. He asked what we needed, and spoke to my husband and I in a sharp tone. He didn't seem interested in helping us really. He received a phone call (apparently his lunch arrived, because he told the person on the phone to tip $3). A short time later, while right in the middle of us choosing various things, he said the he would be right back and walked away -- FOR EASILY 15 MINUTES! He came back with his Mountain Dew, and made no apology for his departure.... read more
I realize I had an unusual return issue but just a tip... Don't pick up the phone when you're in the middle of a conversation with me. It doesn't make me want to sympathize with your argument. And even though you EVENTUALLY did what I wanted I still left the store a tad bit irked.
I went to Lowes at 9 am on Saturday morning. I am disabled and depend on the electric carts. The one I got barely made it to the hardware section. I asked for help and one of the sales people went up front and came back and said all the other carts were in worse shape than this one. How can this be after being open 2 hours? Lowe's needs to get their carts fixed. I guess I will start going to Home Depot or Menards. So will all the other disabled folks, I am sure..
I was so impressed with their delivery service which is free when you buy their products.... in one hour I received a refrigerator 15 sheets of drywall in the skid of dirt and mulch... I know that's normal but I didn't know they put the refrigerator together for you unwrap it hook up the ice maker X cetera and they put my drywall in the garage I thought I was going to have to do that myself.... now thats what I call service
