Ordered a set of appliances. Decided to pay for install. When I found out the install would be separate from delivery I told them just credit me back the install and we would do it ourselves. Megan assured me it would be done in one day. Fine, kept it. Guess what? Had to be done at separate times. Next issue. Dishwasher didn’t work. Paid for 2. Waited ALL day for a scheduled carpet measuring. Didn’t Show. Didn’t Call. Manager didn’t follow through. They must not need carpet business...

We spent over $2000 on a washer, dryer, dishwasher recently. The delivery people were excellent. Almost immediately we started having problems with the washer leaking water and now the dryer is not heating properly. The repair guy came twice. The washer is still leaking. Lowe's has a 30 day money back guarantee of course. We reported the problems within the 30 day period, but they sent us to the manufacturer. The manufacturer is a nightmare to deal with. The bottom line? Lowe’s is not helping us with these defective products... read more
When my Sioux Falls store was completely out of underlay we went to Brookings. Every employee was so awesomely helpful, from flooring, to garden to aisles. And FRIENDLY! I was in such a good mood while shopping . Luv the store and worth the drive!

They went above and beyond to show a little girl how to mix paint and watch the process. It made a late night trip really fun for her. Highly recommend this store. The people are amazing.
Always friendly
We had a sump pump fail, and a basement filling with water, but live several miles out of town. I called ahead and explained the situation, but that I may not be able to be there until a few minutes after closing time because of the distance we live from the store. They said they would see what they could do. When I arrived they greeted me at the door (a few minutes after closing), had my sump pumps in a cart ready to go, and the cashiers assured me they were not leaving for the night until the lady who had called in made it... read more
