We toured historic downtown Charleston. We had a great time and learned a lot from our tour guide.
I loved the Alley tour. Bill Stanton was an amazing guide. He knows so much about Charleston, the houses, good restaurants, etc. What was really neat is an owner of one of the historical houses came outside on our tour and chatted with us. Bill has a relationship with most of the owners which allows him to truly understand the history.
We had a fantastic "Charleston's Most Beautiful Walk " tour on March 25 with Bill. This was our second tour with him in the last year, and both were expertly conducted. We will definitely do his third walking tour when we return, but honestly would be happy to repeat any. Bill's humor, charm, attention to detail, and passion about Charleston's history make his tours a must-do!
