I experienced thumb pain and was unable to hyperextend my thumb. My grip strength was also significantly reduced. Dr Santiago diagnosed me with trigger finger. He ultimately recommended a steroid injection the same day. I experienced better mobility and was able to hyperextend my thumb very shortly after the injection. It is still continuing to improve with decreased pain and increased grip strength Dr Santiago was fast and efficient. He explained everything very well and had a great bedside manner.
