My African American friend experienced racism at your establishment. A Caucasian couple was seated before them. This is unacceptable and Iwill never eat at your restaurant.
Bias and the waitress are horrible I believe them to be races
***Business Alert!*** My husband and I just left LOWCOUNTRY LAKEVIEW due to clear racial bias! Upon arriving at this restaurant we checked in with the hostess and gave our name. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait. We proceeded to step to the side, still next to the host stand, and waited for about 20 minutes. RecommendedLowcountry was a great restaurant to visit if you are in the mood for seafood. I was in town and a local recommended it , the best recommendation! The drinks were GREAT (and served during happy hour) & the prefix meal was delicious! Meal included an appetizer , main course (snow crab, shrimp corn potato asparagus marinated in your choice of sauce) and desert (beignets or fried Oreos). Look forward to visiting Chicago again and stopping by Lowcountry !
