Amazing vet!! Dr Bunning is a an amazing vet. She takes her time with you and answers all your questions and if she doesn't know the answer she finds out for you. Her staff is just as helpful. When you come in the door you are welcomed right away and you feel at home. The receptionist and techs talk to you as if you have been going there for years even if it's your first time. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 2 pet rats and a cat. Not only was it hard enough to find a vet in NY but one who can help my rats. I feel Dr.Bunning will be my vet until forever! she's so loving and cares for animals, truly! Thanks everyone at loving hands! :p
Personal Care-Very hard to find in NYC or anywhere else I recently adopted my mothers diabetic cat after she passed and really did not know what to do, where to bring him, and needed help making sure he would be cared for if needed. I ended up bringing him to Loving Hands a few months ago for a check-up and to hopefully establish a relationship with a Vet.
Fantastic Vet Dr. Bunning is BY FAR the best vet I have ever taken my cats to! She is attentive, knowledgeable, and very very gentle and compassionate. I've owned many pets, and Dr. Bunning is definitely a superior vet! I wish that human doctors I go to would be as kind and attentive! I'm sorry for anyone who had a bad experience, but I don't see how that's possible. Dr. Bunning is an absolute sweetheart!!
Excellent Care I am a previous employee of Loving Hands and I must say it was the best practice I ever worked for. The staff are some of the best group of people you will ever meet. Dr. Bunning is caring, loving and extremely compassionate. She is very knowledgeable and has the patients best interest at heart and mind. She goes over and beyond to help not only her patients but strays and those less fortunate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends and family.
Great Vet I have been a client at this clinic since they opened years ago. I am unsure why the negative reviews, and I too have a pet that has a problem with seizures. When my dog was seen for his problem, I had to start giving him medication and then bring him for exams quite often, this was because the medication that was prescribed for my pet while being the proper treatment, is a controlled drug, and frankly if Dr Bunning wasn't so careful and concerned with my pet, and making sure the treatment was working properly I wo... read more
Loving Hands is synomous to "stigmata" I was extremely stressed out when I was on my last "leg" could not fathom that anyone in New York City would help me deal with my Cats health issues. Loving Hands was a God send referral. The vet Dr. Cara Bunning was receptive and compassionate to my needs of my cats. It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This. I have 2 "special needs" rescue dogs and everyone at Loving Hands takes the time to make sure that both of my dogs are comfortable and happy. Dr. Bunning and the staff always make me and my dogs feel extremely welcomed and loved, like old friends. My older dog is practically falling apart at the seams and Dr. Bunning makes sure she gives her lots of extra love when we visit. Unsanitary practice Instead of helping to diagnose my cat's seizures, he ended up contracting EAR MITES and a virus, both of which he never had his entire life! Furthermore, she will not refill the medication she prescribed for his seizures unless I pay for another office visit! Cara Bunning, DVM does not have "Loving Hands". She has DIRTY and GREEDY hands! If you love your pets, please keep them FAR AWAY from this practice.
