Karen is an amazing acupuncturist. She helped me with lung congestion during pregnancy. Her office is peaceful and I felt so relaxed after the treatment and my lungs felt clearer. Karen also helped my labor progress. She gave me an extremely thorough treatment during early labor when contractions were not picking up. During the treatment my contractions started to increase, and within a few hours I delivered my baby, without any medication or medical interventions. It was truly magical! Great atmosphere - and great acupuncture! I just had an ear (auricular) acupuncture treatment, and felt so relaxed and peaceful after. I’m not always the biggest fan of needles, and Karen was very gentle, and placed in needles in a caring way, using thinner needles that were less intense. I felt so good after,and so cared for. The office is very peaceful, and everything is very clean.
Acupuncture was recommended to me for helping with my anxiety and persistent low back pain. To be honest, I was very skeptical. After filling out paperwork on my phone - which was a nice change from a regular doctor's office - I asked Karen if she thought acupuncture would actually help. She explained that some things can only be treated with multiple visits, and that "we would have to try and see." I like that she didn't make any promises.
