When trying to purchase a prefabricated home from LoveJoy Homes. It was contingent that I could purchase land for the home to be placed. Lance was very aware of this. Could not get the land purchased. Went to LoveJoy (Lance) to get my deposit back. Hand not ordered a home. Again it was all contingent on land purchase. He would not refund the 5k. Absolutely wouldn’t make this mistake again. I’ll buy my own home next time. Inexperienced , unreliable, takes weeks to get anything don’t and the home has so many defects I can’t begin to explain. These homes are trash and unfortunately I made the bad decision to live in one, expecting good work done. I wouldn’t refer these people to my worst enemy. Very sad very bad work performed. Lance was so helpful and attentive. I had been trying to get someone to help with a manufactured home for my sister in law, who is in a wheel chair. I was having so many problems when calling other companies, they would not return my calls! But then I called Lance at Lovejoy Manufactured Homes. What a difference! At first everything seemed to be going smoothly. It did not take long to realize Lance is a scam artist. They would not let us use our own contractors, they had to use theirs, my guess so they could jack the price way up. Then when receiving a quote on some demolition work they jacked it way up and it was double the original quote given to me. Nothing ever added up with them.
