I would give these guys a 5 star rating as the food is great, but we just went in for brunch and sat at a table for 10 minutes. There was 3 tables in there and the severs never greeted us, came to our table and purposely avoided eye contact. I am in the service industry so I understand wanting to close early, but turning away a young couple and their baby because they came half an hour before close is just bad business. Great coffee! My favorite place when I go to Portland!�
My favorite place for Breakfast. I work graveyard just two blocks away & i come in every single morning after I get off and have my Almond Croissant and Cold Brew. It's the best part of my day. :) The girls behind the Counter are great, they've got my order down. Two thumbs up for lovejoy bakers!
5 stars for the vegan lemon poppyseed bread (WITH FROSTING) alone. And then the atmosphere, cleanliness and food. Location is great, employees are friendly. Coffee is awesome. The only downside is trying to find an outlet :P
The food is always great. However, the staff is so hit or miss that despite working nearby, I do not eat here frequently. Sometimes staff members are nice, sometimes they barely say anything, and sometimes it feels like such a bother to wait on me. Today felt like a combination of the last two.
