My name is Lee and I am the owner and groomer here at Love On A Leash.I started grooming in the 1970s. Growing up, my parents had a kennel where they bred, showed and trained dogs. I learned to groom from my mother and some of her friends.I have been living in the Port St. Lucie, Florida area for about 11 years. Lee is wonderful and the pups love the free roaming and play time. Having them there is better than doggie day care and the love it!! At one time we had 5 Poms, now down to3...all rescues! Ask Lee about her rescue dogs!!
I took our silky terrier Bo Jangles to Love on a Leash on Friday for the first time. We were told to bring him in at 10 a.m. He was not available for pickup until after 3 p.m. and was never taken out to relieve himself. We were told that the dogs just do so on the floor when they want to and Lee cleans up. Not acceptable. Bo is very disciplined about his habits and generally goes out at 11:30 or so. Professional and knowledgeable! We are blessed to have found Lee and her shop, Love On A Leash...finally, a groomer who does not have an assembly line. She knows the breeds and their needs. She is there for the needs of the dogs.
