RecommendedNot a KOA anymore but the best place to stay across the bridge from Louisville in Indiana
I frequent the campground often, I have never found anything but clean , friendly staff, and very accommodating and I will continue camping at Louisville North Campground. I would recommend to everyone to stay there. Paula, Kris, Micheal.
Although it’s a “packed in like sardines” park, they have it all! Fuel, propane, groceries, knick knacks, rv supplies, full hook up and best of all - a couple minutes from downtown Louisville. Most importantly, their hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendliest folks around!
Just can’t get ahead of these nice people! Had my toilet leak fixed today!
If need a spot close to Louisville to sortie out of to visit the area, this location will do.
Well first it isn't a KOA campground anymore. There are two things that really firmed me off. Each site was packed right next to another like sardines in a can. The second was the train that came through several times the night. From the sound I thought the train was right over the camper. It didn't make for a good night. On the other side the staff was very helpful and the WIFI worked as advertised. All the hook ups were well laid out and working.
We stayed one night in a cabin, they were cute perfect place to sleep between our time out...
