Louise's is a full service bakery, caterer and cake decorating supply shop. We have been supplying central Alabama with quality services for over 30 years. Our cakes are all made fresh daily in our shop- visit us to pickup a cookie or cupcake and find out for yourself why we've been around so long. Our supply shop is the only place in Birmingham you can get Guittard and Merckens chocolate for candy making. We also have hundreds of cookie cutters, chocolate molds, fondant supplies, cake pans, flavorings and food colors.

Never Again I used to love this bakery, but the last two cakes I bought from them were very dry. When I complained, you would have thought I committed a crime.
Not Good! Before our wedding we had a sample and it was delicious! It looked beautiful and tasted fresh, but on the actual day the cake delivered looked nothing like the picture I supplied and it tasted as if it had been made days in advanced! It was still pretty, but not what we wanted and the quality was awful! I was embarrassed to have it served to our guests!
Stay Away! Louise' has hands-down got to be one of the worst businesses in the area. Louise herself is mean and ornery, and her staff is just as bad. They shout at each other across the store, things like "I have to go teetee!" Right in front of customers! All in all, ordering a cake, ordering sugar flowers, dealing with this place in any capacity is just an unpleasant experience. Did not deliver Upon our first meeting, I was very impressed with Louise and her company. On the wedding day, I was horrified at what was delivered as the groom's cake. The shape which we had discussed thoroughly with a picture to go by, and the colors of the fondant icing which were discussed as well were disasterous. Louise had assured me that both were not a problem, yet they both turned out to be a nightmare! Wedding cake mess!! I was very disappointed with my wedding cake. Something unexpected came up and I had to move my wedding 100 miles out of town 3 weeks prior to the date. Ms. Louise was supposed to do 2 cakes and cater my wedding for me. I had to cancel the catering and the groom's cake with her because it would have been way to expensive for her to still do it. My Beautiful Wedding Cake and Custome Chocolate Candy Favors My wedding was on 8/16/08 and my cake and candy bar chocolates were done by Louise's Cakes and Things and it was not only beautiful but delicious. The candy was such a hit that I wish I could get more, box it and send it out to each of our guests. One of my guest commented that he thought it was a beautifully wrapped present.
