Louise's is a full service bakery, caterer and cake decorating supply shop. We have been supplying central Alabama with quality services for over 30 years. Our cakes are all made fresh daily in our shop- visit us to pickup a cookie or cupcake and find out for yourself why we've been around so long. Our supply shop is the only place in Birmingham you can get Guittard and Merckens chocolate for candy making. We also have hundreds of cookie cutters, chocolate molds, fondant supplies, cake pans, flavorings and food colors.

Not Good! Before our wedding we had a sample and it was delicious! It looked beautiful and tasted fresh, but on the actual day the cake delivered looked nothing like the picture I supplied and it tasted as if it had been made days in advanced! It was still pretty, but not what we wanted and the quality was awful! I was embarrassed to have it served to our guests!
Did not deliver Upon our first meeting, I was very impressed with Louise and her company. On the wedding day, I was horrified at what was delivered as the groom's cake. The shape which we had discussed thoroughly with a picture to go by, and the colors of the fondant icing which were discussed as well were disasterous. Louise had assured me that both were not a problem, yet they both turned out to be a nightmare! Me Likey!!! Louise's is one of the best bakeries/supply stores that I have ever used. They did my wedding cakes and they were awesome! They have delicious candies and other sweets and surprisingly good prices. The new location is way bigger than the previous shop, so they have far more supplies. The cakes are both beautiful and delicious. I'd also like to add that their delivery boy is really great!
Amazing cakes I had placed a cake order and the store has just reopened. When I picked up that cake I was so surprised the cake was one of the most amazing cakes that I have ever had. These people out did themselves. I have had good and not so good cakes everybody has their day but I know that they will always be fair with me and give me just a little more than I pay for.
NEVER NEVER AGAIN My daughter got married July 18, 2010 and Louis's did the wedding cake and the grooms cake. When the cakes were delivered it was terrible, the wedding cake had part of the icing separating the grooms cake was not at all what I ordered, so I called Louise immediately because the delivery driver said you will have to call Louise. Stay Away This bakery is undoublty the worst bakery of all that I have seen. I ordered my little boys first birthday cake from them, I pocked it up today to find it decorated as if I had done it. It is with out a doubt plain jane. We discussed on the phone the colors I wanted and at time of pick up it was entirelu white with red writing. The images were to be 3D but instead look as if a three yr old thru a glob of icing on it. In fact I give 0 stars to this establishment.

Good Experience I ordered a large cake from Louise's last week and was very pleased to hear my guests say how much they enjoyed it. There were several comments made about the moistness of the cake. I also purchased a cinnamon sugar coffee cake and and some pastries (chocolate) that were delicious. The employees were extremely patient and went the extra mile to see that my order was placed just as I requested.
