Came in around closing time and one of the employees was trying to rush is out of the store. Constantly asking what else we wanted without giving us time to think.
Rhebs is a Baltimore icon! Their chocolate confections are mouth-watering delicious! The ladies behind the candy counter are always pleasant and patient boxing up my customized chocolate boxes. I love coming here - I'm literally and figuratively a kid in the candy store! This place brings me so much joy! If you are a Baltimoron and haven't been; you MUST go.
At 100 years, this family excels at quality in their product, and understands the value of their customers, and Baltimore traditions.
When I was a kid my grandmother was one of the candy dippers and store clerks there in the 70's and 80's. We loved to visit her there. In fact I remember seeing the big vats of churning chocolate and the ladies in another room all in a line hand dipping each piece of candy. And the smell of chocolate was so intoxicating.
