A lousy "Doctor" a typical burocrat that looks at the computer, lab results and a chart of profit and loss for the insurance Co, you get a better diagnosis from google or a chat, with 220 TT, extreme anemia )8 5 iron) and insulin resistance, he assumes it's all normal.....now I know why they call them Quacks
I totally forgot about my experience with this Dr until his name came up in a conversation. I saw him only once, maybe like 5-6 years ago. At first, he seemed to care about my type 1 diabetes. I mean that is his JOB. About five minutes into the first appointment his tone shifted and he was very condensending and seemed to be very judgemental towards me and my lifestyle choices. You may have the credentials to have passed tests and become a Dr, but having a little empathy towards your patients and recognizing we are all human... read more
Dr. Christiansen had always been polite and attentive to my questions, however, after a series of incidents related to his office practice, I could no longer continue to be his patient. I was ‘ok’ for a while with the LONG wait time to see the Dr. in person. I was also 'ok' with the over-the-phone appointments that lasted less than 10 minutes (the medical bill always arrived on time though). I would not recommend this Dr. During the 6+ months I saw him, not once did he try to get to the root of my problem, or offer me any advice on improving my symptoms (such as diet, lifestyle changes etc). All he will do is keep prescribing you pills ... that is it. He is impersonal and even though he seem respectful I don't feel like he cares about his patients at all. Dr. Christiansen has helped me enormously over the last three years. He listens carefully and makes clear recommendations and the reasons for his recommendations. I do follow his advice! He really has improved my health. He and his assistant Betty seem perfect to me. has watched me closely
