Worst flooring contractor experience ive ever had. they dont supervise or even monitor their installers (mine had bankers hours) will not finish the job and have a taillight guarantee. i had to hire someone else to finish the work.
Went with Louies as they presented more options for our carpet needs. Installation went bad from the get go. Installer slammed roll of pad down upstairs which vibrated the ceiling hard enough downstairs to make glasses fall off shelves and break, my dining room light fixture to break and a family heirloom broken in a million pieces. Then the seams clearly didn't match on a non match carpet and guy tried to make an excuse, for which I knew better. Louie’s is a great place to buy flooring. My last project was carpeting the family room in the basement. The Louie’s salesman was friendly and professional. There were hundreds of samples in the show room to choose from. The carpet was reasonably priced. The installation went without a hitch. My next project is to put laminate flooring in the sewing room and Louie’s is where I will be buying the laminate.
I hired Louies Floor Covering to install carpet in my daughter's master bedroom. I was very pleased with the carpet and the installation job and the price. I would recommend Louies to anyone.
These guys are thugs. They are so dishonest it's appalling. After a confirmed quot they mailed us a bill for $190.00 more then the original quot. Make sure you get everything in writing up front (not just a receipt for your down payment)--- or better yet, go to someone honest. We had bids from Lowes and Home Depot which were both lower but went with these guys because they were a local company. Big mistake!
DO NOT BUY FROM LOUIE'S! – My wife and I are remodeling our kitchen. We plan to tile the floor and some of the walls. We're new at this. My wife went to Louie's and met with one of the salesmen. He was condescending to the point that my wife was in tears. He was totally NOT helpful to the point of being RUDE! She went back to return samples and encountered him again. Same treatment. Needless to say, we are purchasing our tile somewhere else where they treat us like customers and not like idiots!
You won't go anywhere else! – I can't begin to say what a great group of people they are at Louie's Floor Covering. From the great advise on how to pick the right type of carpet for the traffic area it was for, to the end installer, the process couldn't have gone smoother! I like the fact that the owner, Randy was at the store thanking me for my business after all was said and done.
