Food would taste better without the cigarette smoke... I heard raves about the burgers and fries at Louie's, and I cannot say they don't serve a good meal. I don't eat on the mainstream, since I avoid beef, but they offered a garden burger and wild salmon burger as alternatives. The fries were crisp, though I think they were double fried to accomplish it. I was also pleased with the draft beers they had on hand. (I had the Black Butte Porter. Yes!) Great Burgers and More We've only been to Louie's once, but we really liked it. They have great hamburgers and big steak fries. The staff was friendly and helped make our dining experience better. Prices are about average for Ashland and since it is located in the middle of the plaza part of what you are paying for is location. The owners have supported the local schools and I like that in a business, so I recommend them.
