Could not even get past the initial call ive been calling for days and no response and I left a request to be a new patient no response. When I call again today and receive a response im met with a very rude receptionist who tells me I will not find an appointment anywhere in Virginia today (which is fine but bad delivery) when I ask about the process of making an appointment she tells me she can either tell me it or send me an email and when I tell her the email she confirms it then doesn't send it and hangs up in my face. ... read more
Stay away from Eric Zelsdorf. He is a scumbag whose license should by taken away. He convinced a severely physically disabled patient who is at-risk, especially in terms of mental health risks, to get rid of her caretaker fiancé based on unfounded and bogus reasons. Now what? She lives alone and is at-risk of isolation, injury, self-harm, etc. Immediately after this breakup he dropped her as a patient. I searched for months to find a local, trauma-informed therapist for my family member with special needs. Was hopeful to have found this group and to get an appointment. Went to great lengths of care coordination to bring my family member for their scheduled appointment, only to find the office closed and locked. 30 minutes later I received a voicemail message informing me that , "the doctor didn't know he had an appointment today." I have been on a waitlist to get my teenage son Neuro testing for 3 months. I've communicated with the staff 10 times via email since then, and was told the wait would be 2-6 months, but probably 4 months. Today, they informed me that they do not do Neuro testing on anyone under 16. They knew from the initial call that my son is 14, and even checked my insurance coverage. They wasted 3 months of our time when we could have been trying to find another provider. Completely unprofessional.
They saved my life. I was struggling with depression for so long and it got so terrible during the lockdown I could barely stand it. My therapist, Kristen, managed to turn me around completely. She encouraged me to both work on my mental health and build a medical team to support me. I am so thankful for everything that Loudoun Psychological Services has given back to me.
