Appear to have your best interests in heart regarding natural birth. Once you hit 39 weeks it’s gilt trips about getting scheduled for an induction. Had two births with them and now I hate going to the gynecologist. They seem to be in the business of putting you on birth control while delivering babies is an inconvenient side hustle they partake in.

I’m sharing this here because this was the most unsettling prenatal visit I’ve had, and this is my third baby, though my first with this practice. This experience was with Megan Weimer, CNM. I asked to skip one Doppler at a visit because I had an anatomy scan scheduled just days later, no risk factors, and strong, consistent fetal movement. TW: Recurrent pregnancy loss I have mixed feelings about this practice. I initially joined because they were the only practice that delivered at the Natural Birth Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital, but that center shut down during 2022 due to understaffing from COVID. Dr. Park delivered my baby (high-risk pregnancy) during an induction in September 2022, and I am pretty certain she is a large part of me not having a C-section, though we did have other interventions.
