I was VERY disappointed with my first visit to Loudoun Gastroenterology Clinic. My mother, father, and 41 yr old identical twin sister have a longstanding history of colonic polyps, and my SOLE intent in scheduling an appointment (and taking time off work) was to get screened for colon cancer. I met with NP Nassiri, who claimed I was misinformed, stating that only a family history of colon cancer would justify screening. I saw Dr Lafsky Nov1after waiting many weeks for an appointment; he saw me for about three minutes . He explained nothing sent me off with colon prep. But no procedure to follow. Two weeks after and taking Miralax no improvement After many tries to reach his office you may reach an assistant who says she will talk to doctor and get back. Next time she said the doctor was prescribing Linzess. a very costly laxative. It immediately caused violent diarrhea.
