We needed collar ties added in our attic and a rafter anchored more securely to the ridge board. The work was done in one day and they cleaned up everything nicely! There was some very minor paint cracking on our ceiling that was made a little worse while they were working in the attic, but they were super nice and had a painter come out and patch it up for us! They even fixed another part of that ceiling that was cracking and put a fresh coat of paint on the entire ceiling in the small hallway where they were doing the work... read more

My husband is a Vietnam veteran with multiple disabilities. We had 6 stairs to get to our front porch & it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to manage. The VA offers ADA compliant home modifications & after researching, I called Lotz Custom Carpentry & Brian came out to discuss options. Lotz designed and built a new deck for us. Throughout the process, they were incredibly responsive and patient as we thought about what we wanted to do. Drawings were updated promptly. Once our permit was received, they started immediately and worked so quickly. Lotz's carpenters were wonderful.
