We are camping in summersville and needed something to do durning a rainy day. It was a lovely drive - and we enjoyed the caverns - my son loved all the fossils and Dino things in the shop

what an incredible site to see!! I was fortunate enough to visit this place, worth the 11 hour drive..reasonable fee, amazing gift shop packed with many different gem stones and crystals , fairly priced. the cavern was surreal, breathtaking- something I will never forget! the employees are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I also received a discount for being a nurse, which was nice.

My husband and I took our 7 year old son he only made it about 1/2 the way and decided it was to much for him he said it was to steep and slick however I chose to finish the tour alone and i must say it was breathe taking best cavern i have seen thus far in west Virginia.. we drove 3 hours just to check it out. A must see. Coming back ,up the stairs was much work on a bigger girl but loved it.

Really cool experience! Definitely wear clothes for cooler temps as the caves are quite chilly.
