Stopped here on the way back home to NC from picking up younger cousins in WV, they enjoyed it and so did me and my wife, hot outside but in the cave is very nice and chilled, like being inside a very nice air conditioned building. I have been to Moaning Caverns in California so it was neat to see the similarities. Afterwards we went to Jims drive in for some burgers, fries, and soft serve ice cream, great place, great food, they close a bit early so be there before 5 if you go there after the Caverns.

I have a very active son that does well on long car rides if I give him a very active break. The staff has always been very friendly. Bathrooms have always been clean too. They have a nice gift shop that I always manage to bring home one little trinket o... read more
